Mando Mandarin TERMS AND CONDITIONS

THIS SECTION INCLUDES INFORMATION ABOUT OUR REFUND POLICY AND 24-HOUR LESSON CANCELLATION POLICY.

PLEASE MAKE SURE you have successfully completed your FREE Trial Lesson with us before making any purchase! We want to make sure we are able to successfully deliver online lessons to your satisfaction and answer any questions that you may have.

If you've already successfully completed your FREE Trial Lesson and are ready to continue lessons, then please first take the time to CAREFULLY read the following Terms and Conditions below:

In exchange for services and/or products provided by Mando Mandarin (herein referred to as "Mando"), you hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

ONLINE SERVICE AND PAYMENT
If for any reason Mando is unable to charge your credit card with the full amount owed Mando for the service provided, or if Mando is charged back for any fee it previously charged to the credit card you provided, you agree that Mando may pursue all available remedies in order to obtain payment. You agree that among the remedies Mando may pursue in order to effect payment, shall include but will not be limited to immediate cancellation of your lessons.

FEES RELATING TO YOUR PAYMENT METHOD
You are solely responsible for any and all fees charged to your Payment Method by the issuer, bank, or financial institution including, but not limited to, membership, overdraft, insufficient funds and over the credit limit fees.

COURSE MATERIALS

Course materials will be delivered to the student by email or regular mail. All shipping and freight charges are already included in each course's listed price.

CONTINUING LESSONS AFTER HOURS ARE COMPLETED

Upon the completion of your purchased lesson hours, if you wish to continue lessons you must contact Mando or use this Site to purchase a new block of lesson hours. Mando's Teachers may not enter into private agreements with clients as this is in breach of their contractual agreement with Mando Mandarin. All administrative matters must go through our central office.

TEACHER'S OBLIGATIONS TO YOU
From time to time, your regular teacher may be unavailable to give lessons due to personal issues, health reasons, or other emergencies. In case of this event, we will always provide each student with the most fitting substitute teacher. However, at times it may be possible that no substitute teacher will be available to teach a scheduled lesson. In this case, Mando will contact you no less than twenty-four (24) hours in advance to reschedule at no extra charge to you.

CHANGING YOUR TUTOR

You may request a change of Tutor if you are not satisfied with the Tutor that you have. Please be aware that we will need forty-eight (48) hours to process and fulfill your request.

REFUND POLICY

We want you to get the best lessons your money can buy. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with us, we will refund the balance of your payment minus a fee. Please read below to understand how we calculate the refund amount.

REFUND CALCULATION

Once classes have begun, we can provide a refund for the following amount:

Your Purchase Price - (# of hours used * your price per hour) - $100

$100 is charged for the cost of our teaching materials, cost of shipping & handling, and processing fee.

In the case where no purchased lesson hours have been used, and no teaching materials shipped, we will refund the total amount to your credit card.

TERMINATION BY MANDO

Mando may suspend or terminate your lessons, or otherwise restrict your services provided by Mando at Mando's sole discretion, with or without cause. You agree that, in addition to other events set forth in this agreement, your access to the services provided by Mando is subject to termination or suspension in the event there is an unresolved breach of this agreement and/or suspension or termination is required by any policy now in effect. In the event of any such suspension or termination of your lessons without cause you shall be entitled to a refund as provided in our current Refund Calculation clause (above).

24-HOUR LESSON CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that sometimes you may have personal, social, or work related obligations which may cause you to have to cancel or reschedule a lesson. We don't have a problem with this as long as you can give us an advance 24 hour notice. In order to avoid any potential misunderstandings, please carefully review the following terms below. Thank you for your cooperation.

    • You understand that if you want to properly cancel a lesson and NOT be charged for it, you must notify Mando by EMAIL at least 24 hours before the lesson begins. A properly canceled lesson may be rescheduled at another time at no extra charge.

    • You understand that if you cancel a lesson without giving the proper 24 hour cancellation notice, you will be responsible and still charged for the lesson. This is because Mando's Teachers spend time and energy preparing for each lesson in advance. We respect our teachers as professionals and we value their time. They have set aside time and spend energy preparing each lesson and they depend on the income that they earn from tutoring. Therefore, we pay them when they are scheduled to meet for any online lesson and deduct it from your tutoring package if you do not cancel 24 hours in advance. If you have an unexpected emergency, we will do our best to contact the tutor before the scheduled session and make payment decisions on a case-by-case basis.
