Beginner 1 - Basics & Pinyin (36 Hours)
If you’ve never learned Mandarin or only recognize a few
words: 

Focus on SPEAKING - basic conversational vocabulary and Hanyu Pinyin pronunciation.

Sample Topics: greetings, personal pronouns, simple questions, money, time, dates, food, asking for directions, small talk.  

By the end: understand 600-700 words, 100 sentences, basic grammar, have short chats with other Chinese speakers.
